Karina De La Cruz is an emerging affordable housing developer and the founder of K Force Enterprises LLC, a minority woman-owned business organized in the State of Michigan. She has led predevelopment and construction management on LIHTC and affordable housing projects, and holds a National Compliance Professional (NCP) LIHTC certification.

Karina came into development by resolving building code violations, work that cleared the way for the acquisition of an affordable housing site. From there she moved into project and construction management and founded K Force Construction LLC, a woman-led construction company, work that led her to form relationships with real estate developers, community leaders and project stakeholders at the city and state levels.

Beyond her companies, Karina serves as a board member of AAREP NY (African American Real Estate Professionals of New York), which for more than 35 years has been a home for real estate professionals across the Tri-State area, uniting people working in commercial real estate, land use and development. As a board member, she leads the organization's events programming, bringing together owners, developers, contractors and public agencies across the region.
